The Demand Calendar in Foresight Connect is a strategic tool designed to help organizations anticipate resource needs, plan staffing effectively, and align workforce capacity with project demands. Accessible through both the Calendar tab and the Projects tab, it provides a comprehensive view of resource requirements across various roles and timeframes. With customizable filters, managers can tailor the calendar to display specific demand types, focus on particular role categories, or analyze resource needs at different levels of granularity. The ability to save frequently used settings streamlines workflows and ensures quick access to critical data. By leveraging the Demand Calendar, businesses can proactively address staffing gaps, optimize resource allocation, and maintain a balanced workload across teams, ultimately enhancing project delivery and operational efficiency.
Demand Calendar Locations
In Foresight, there are two types of Demand Calendars available:
- Demand Calendar in the Calendar Tab
- Demand Calendar in the Project's Profile
The difference between them lies in the scope of the demand displayed. The Demand Calendar in the Calendar Tab shows demand from all projects across the organization. In contrast, the Demand Calendar in the Project's Profile only displays demand for the specific project you currently view and manage.
